The heart of the stylish CHARLES-HENRY Bar & Lounge is the imposing bar itself, with its masterful mix of different oak woods and the spacious lobby lounge with its characteristic Chesterfield armchairs. Floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows provide a view of the idyllic Moai Garden.

The fine tea specialities or a wonderful iced coffee on the sun terrace taste particularly delicious here. If you're feeling a bit hungry, we offer various dishes from our snack & regional snack menu. We look forward to taking you on a relaxed journey through the world of drinks. In the evening, when you're reading an exciting book by the crackling open fire, you can look forward to a successful end to the evening and perhaps enjoy a whisky with your ‘Sundowner in the Moai Garden’!

THREE MOAI WATCHES are the highlight of the atmospheric summer garden! The colossal stone statues from Easter Island have come a long way: they travelled for months by ship and van to find their new home here in Ingolstadt.

As the original link between this world and the world beyond, they now watch over the well-being of hotel guests at the BLOCK Hotel and Living. As dusk falls, the moais are artfully illuminated ... and sometimes at dusk - as many hotel guests have reported: they start to smile and wink ;o)
